The property developer of Singapore’s tallest building, GuocoLand recently announced that Singapore’s tallest building rising at 290 metres high is now in its almost full completion. Tanjong Pagar Centre is expected to be completed by 2017.
GoucoLand further disclosed that the Gouco Tower already acquired the Temporary Occupation Permit (TOP) for its 890,000 sq ft office component, retail space and basement areas. According to Cheng Hsing Yao, Managing Director of GoucoLand Singapore, the Gouco Tower sales comes mostly from a broad range of industries coming from other building within the CBD and nearby city fringes.
Even in the midst of high competition in the leasing market, Guoco Tower was still able to secure commitments coming commercial tenants which made a significant rise from 10 percent early this year to 80 percent at present.
