Background
Hawaii, also know as the "Aloha" State, consists of a grouping of islands approximately
6,422 square miles in area located in the Pacific Ocean.
Hawaii's population was estimated to be 1,275,194 according to the 2005 U.S. Census Bureau statistics.
In the 1920's, the hibiscus, all colors and varieties, was adopted as the official Territorial Flower until
1988 when the yellow hibiscus which is native to the Hawaiian Islands was officially adopted as the state flower.
Hawaii is a spectacular spot for scuba diving, boating, surfing and golfing fun. If you are an outdoor
enthusiast, you will surely want to visit these sites for information and reservations!
